I have a separate dental plan through my Federal Employee health plans coverage and my surgery still cost me $5,250 back in Feb. I had it on both sides, top and bottom. If I would have know, I would have paid a few bucks more per month for the high option last open enrollment, but it still would have been a few grand for the surgery.

    You just wait
It really pisses me off that dental is a separate thing. You pay all this money for health insurance and then when you have an issue that affects your HEALTH but it happens to be in your mouth then it's not covered.....

Same with vision and hearing. If you can't see, hear or eat, that's a health issue to me.

Fortunately I researched Medicare Advantage plans pretty thoroughly. The plan I have has good coverage for all 3.

Last New Years we introduced my son's college friends to the crazy fireworks up where my parents live. They got excited to come back up for the 4th, so my son did a crap-ton of planning and figured it all out. I was really proud of him for not only taking charge, but planning everything and keeping his "oh look a squirrel" friends on track. We got my parents on board, planned a couple of big family dinners and were generally excited for the weekend. The "one job" that a friend of my son's had was to find a place to stay since we cannot host them at my parent's house. He shit the bed, but my son's GF took charge and found a great deal on a beach house VERBO.

Whelp, I'm on day 6 of a head cold and the wife is on day 4. Day 5 is 24hrs of hell, so we're probably out for the weekend. Sent my daughter up with my son and his GF today so they can get spoiled by my parents. Then two of his remaining three friends joining the fun bailed (for good reason) and now the final person is "I'll think about it".

Pretty sure my son is pissed off to no end at his friends. Hopefully he realizes soon that he's got a beach front VERBO with his GF to themselves now...

Does anyone know anything about Polaris rzrs? My neighbor bought one, test drove it, and it seemed okay.

Now it will only start and backfire and then die upon applying the throttle. It backfires. Timing I am guessing.

Fuel is new, spark plugs fine, ran great the day it was purchased. It is a 900 I think

I'm trying to help the guy out, he has really helped me. I think it is a 2015 or pretty close.

I wouldn’t do that in any vehicle, unless it was life or death. People (kids) could be playing there.

Speaking of Medicare Advantage plans, the total for my procedure (getting hosed and removal of polyps - with nice photos) was about $3500 for the 10-15 minute job. Plan paid about $500 and I paid $15.

That brings back some memories of middle of the night horrors...They are nocturnal to boot so you would often find them in the house while getting up to take a piss in the middle of the night.

I would constantly find the scorpions in my bathroom at night. I figured they were coming in through the ceiling vent as the bathroom had no windows.

The first few times you run into scorpions inside the house can be pretty jarring as your brain goes into a wtf am I witnessing here mode...

Get one of these. Has a UV light function. I don't use mine to look for scorpions. Good for checking leaks though.

Started shopping for the UV light, turns out that besides scorpions you can use it to spot those big ass tomato worms. Those things are my wife's #1 nemesis every year. We don't plant tomatoes, but our back porch has a bunch of flowering vines making a sun block wall of sorts and those fuckers love to eat them. They blend in with the vines and can be a bitch to find, so she is excited to go "hunting" for them with the light this year, even though she usually makes me pull them off.
