Who's got dogs? Post your pup!

So some of you know that I work a week away from home from my fur babies and then come home for a week, I have family members that watch Max and Gemma while I'm gone and supply them with food for the week while I'm gone, the day before picking them up Gemma didn't wanna eat her food, she wanted some of the other dogs food that they eat, that food is Farmer's Dog food, Gemma has been eating Cesars food since I got her, I was told she ate at 5pm and by 2am she was throwing up the food, I got into town late and picked them up the next morning, Gemma was happy to see me, but on the ride home she threw up and threw up several times at home, and she couldn't keep her water down when she drank, then it was the bloody stool that freaked me out, so I took her to a 24hr vet, she had to spend the night, $1700 later she's a lot better, picked her up this late evening, she's gotta go back for one more shot, and she has 4 different meds to take




She was happy to come home

 

Glad she's doin' better... Did they figure out if she got into something, or was just fighting off some strange anomaly??

 

She doesn't get into anything at that house, no access to anything, no poisons or any plants that can harm her, she's by her babysitters side 24/7 other than having to go out on her own to potty, he told me that she just didn't want her food, she wanted to try the other dogs food, and she's not the kind of dog to muscle her way into another dog's bowl

 

I know some dogs don’t do well when you change dog food brands. Like diarrhea or vomiting. But that seems to be an extreme reaction if it was the dog food.

 

We picked up two rescue dogs yesterday. They say they’re Chihuahuas, but I think they’re mixed with other breeds. They’re really shy right now. But curious.

 

Here’s a little history of these two and others they were with. It’s really sad how some people treat animals and in this case a child also.

 

It’s gonna take a lot of love and a lot of patience.

Thanks, we just woke, she slept by my side all night, she went out to do her thing in the back yard, all normal

My dog goes to lick his plate and looks back trying to say: "look at me you greedy bastard, another snack and I wouldn't be suffering!!"
