My answers would also be the same. Think of how much domestic abuse, bar fights, drunk driver caused deaths, etc. would be cured if beer wasn't around. To get hammered you'd have to be committed and use the harder stuff. Lots wouldn't because they are only social drinkers. Then again, @Azblue might go postal if beer just vanished and was never allowed to return.

And I am with you on eliminating soda. We'd all be much healthier.

Truck got absolutely hammered with hail last night. Had to run out and toss whatever I could find on the hood and roof to protect as much as I could. Lesson learned about having a moving blanket handy.

 

We were issued vests for the rigs about 7 years ago here, and just got a newer version of ballistic helmet last year. We go through active shooter drills with LEO & EMS annually.

I feel for you but unfortunately I can confirm. The Midwest in general is not known for great Mexican food. That's putting it mildly. Thankfully I'm close enough to the Cities where options are available.
Out in the sticks here most Mexican food is varying levels of passable but still heavily Americanized.
Sadly, a lot of my German/Scandihoovian brethren think Taco Bell is Mexican food.
