just realized I posted this in the wrong forum

here is the rundown I had an alignment done with a set of tires I got mounted and balanced maybe they didn't like the way I looked or were having a bad day but they damn sure butchered the alignment because some time later my passenger side tire on the outer edge is bald okay to much positive camber but why isn't the driver side like that so I look at that and the inside of that tire is just starting to bald so I get on the ground look at the cam bolts one side is set max positive the other is set max negative its a wonder it drove straight I checked the toe it was also very positive I don't know what the proper +- camber and toe are supposed to be I do a lot of "city driving" so the outside usually wears pretty fast anyways so I think something less then a degree of negative camber and a ever so slight positive toe just off info I've read in other forums and my own personal driving patterns at the moment I maxed out the negative camber on the positive side and zeroed the toe I maxed the negative to match other side since it showed much less signs of wearing I guess I'm more just wondering if what I'm thinking is valid and or do you have any suggestions if so it'd be much appreciated

-NOT IMPORTANT TO THE ISSUE ABOVE JUST A RANT-
to anyone who says just take it to a shop I did and now I'm sitting at my computer at 1 in the morning typing out this clusterf**k of a mess I'm so done with shops in my area from the outrageous service fees to the blatant disrespect in quality of work I've had to go behind "supposed" 4-5 star shops and clean up there mess you cant even have a simple radio and speakers put in without it being grounded with 3 self tapping screws in the middle of a ring terminal right next to the interior fuse box with a pile of metal shavings still there (not my car) or get told with a straight face that my starter replacement will cost WELL over one thousand dollars like are you gonna give me a massage and take me out to dinner with the rest of the money it took me right at an hour with hand tools and I didn't even jack it up off the ground and so many other stories just like it so at this point ill just be doing all my own work and if I don't know how to do it I'm gonna learn how to do it because I know I'm gonna take care of it properly because I have to drive this truck to work in the morning I'm gonna drive my gf to dinner in it and when I want to go somewhere can you guess what I'm driving and if something wasn't done right I got no one to blame but myself and id rather get mad at myself for a stupid mistake the to pay someone else to make one

That's so shitty. Alignments seem to be going down hill lately. And tire balancing. Seem to hear lots of issues lately. Did you get a print out for your alignment showing all green? Always ask for a print out. Can't trust anyone now days. Including "reputable" shops, unfortunately.

It was quite a while ago and at a time where I kinda knew jacks**t about alignments and I was just like we'll I don't know anything about it I currently have the funds to have someone "more qualified" to do it for me so I'll just do that and not worry about it and didnt ask for any print out I was very naive about the situation kinda thinking all rainbows and butterflies and payed the price for it I'm 21 still pretty young I guess and like to give people the benefit of the doubt more often then I should
