I bought a 2013 6 months ago. Great truck. When I first picked it up, it had trouble getting into 4H and 4L. The mechanic found that the control cable had come loose, reseated it, problem solved. Today the 4h light started flickering while the selector was in 2L. Moving the selector knob did nothing. I'm thinking maybe that control cable still has issues and could use replacing. Anyone have an idea of how involved that is? A google search didn't find me a replacement cable. Any insights?
    Thanks.

The mechanic must have been talking about one of the electrical connectors. The are two main connectors, one on the 4H side and one on the 4L side. If I remember correctly, there is also a small connector. You may be able to reach up there and feel it. But, if the lock tab is broken you may need to find a way to hold the connector in place. Maybe a cable-tie would work. I don't remember how it's situated but you should be able to figure out a way to get the tie to hold it.

Or, you could replace is connector if that's what's broken. But that is gonna be more involved.
