    Hello-

I was under the truck to grease the zirks and was checking for play this weekend. I noticed i had a metallic play at the carrier bearing. If i held the rear half and twisted the front half of the shaft i noticed i could see the single nut on the end of the front half moving inside the yolk. I know this gets torqued to 133ft lbs and loosened and then torqued to 60 ft lb. But should i be able to see this nut moving inside the yolk? Looks to me like the only way it could happen short of the nut being loose is if the carrier bearing collapsed some.

Anyone work on these enough know the answer?
