Sorry about the delayed response. Steven and Eric from my team have joined the forum to better assist me in answering questions. The short answer is that we removed PedalMonster vehicle applications that were known not to have Selected Gear PID identified, therefore, they did not have Reverse Safety, which is our patented feature that returns the pedal to stock response when backing up. We temporarily removed these applications from the market. We have been returning these vehicle applications to the market one-by-one as we confirm the Selected Gear PID. I'm told that we have all of the major Toyota Selected Gear PIDs and will be putting them back on sale this month.

Hello Jay, is there any way you could please post an updated list of what PIDs we can get with the new iDash Pro for 3rd Gen Tundras here? Also, with the iDash Super Gauge, the PIDs available differed by trim, will that also be the case with the iDash Pro or not?

    @ToyFan

And lastly, when will the poor fitment of the StealthPod be addressed? Or is it what you are calling the final version?

@lapoolboy Please see Jay's previous comment about the pod fitment. This is the final version.

@223Wylde Steve with Banks here. I am working on getting a current list from engineering for the 2022+ Tundra with firmware 1.06 for the iDash Pro. Once I have something, I'll hit you back.

Thank You Banks reps @ToyFan and @GuapoSteve for chiming in and being active here. Very helpful info. Thanks also to @LowcountryDave for your detailed pics and info on your current purchase. I’m Sold on the Pro and the Pod now. I like the pod black matching the display and the fitment seems very close as long as it doesn’t rattle or make noise with vibration? Q?- Dave, were there any coupon codes or discounts available to you? Thanks again

No rattling at all. The Pod fits snug to the handle, and the gauge is just as snug to the Pod. I’ll be hitting some dirt roads this weekend so we’ll see, but I’m pretty confident there won’t be any movement.

You can get 10% off on their website for signing up for the newsletter I believe. I google searched some discount codes and I think you can find 10% off from various promoters.

I took advantage of the generous 50% upgrade pricing to order an idash data pro and idash pro pair. I am impressed with the Banks ecosystem for our trucks. This morning I replaced my legacy idash (in standard suction cup mount) with the idash data pro (using the same cables). Everything worked without issue. The firmware updates were extensive, two major versions, plus image loading and numerous other downloads.

I switched vehicle settings to our gen 3 Tundra which unlocked various vehicle specific PIDS. Also entered the speed correction data for my larger tires. I tested the transmission settings and, as before I am only seeing P/N; R; and D. Still no joy, hoping to see the gears from 1-10 as soon as possible. A lock and unlock icon appears in certain PIDS, I am unsure re: the meaning of these symbols. I am going to use this single idash data pro for now and will mount the second one when I install the dual stealth pod that you sent me Jay, I sincerely appreciate it.

Here are pics from my first 30min of testing. The screen resolution is a major improvement, as are colors and especially the bluetooth connectivity w/immediate firmware updates from the web, the Banks app integration is a pleasure and makes it easy to change PIDs, adjust their locations and intuitively customize the unit without the constant button pushing.

I am selling my original idash and suction mount, hit me up if interested. I'm enthusiastic about the new firmware updates that will be pushed to this unit, thanks Jay to your engineering team for further leveraging specific monitoring of all the features our Tundras offer. I'd love to see pedalmonster firmware updates and continued innovation with this version of the hardware as well. Initial impressions are very positive w/the idash pros (especially when we can see our transmission gears), this update is a big step forward in vehicle monitoring IMHO.

Pretty bummed the Gear position (1-10) reportedly isn’t working.

Big shout out to @LowcountryDave for encouraging me to install the stealthpod myself. With the dual stealth pod/2 idashes and pedal monster it took me a long while to get a clean factory looking install. Very happy with the final results, the design of the dual stealthpod is really good. Unfortunately one of my new idash pros has lines of dead pixels across the screen, I’m going to have to exchange it for a new one. Loving the Banks setup, dual stealthpod looks amazing and so much more intuitive than the suction cup mount

I have the trans gear set as one of my PIDs, and watch it while driving. It still always displays “D” while driving. Interestingly there is a lock (like a padlock) icon next to it throughout. The padlock switches between a locked symbol, and an unlocked symbol regularly. This may be at times when the vehicle is shifting. This could be a good sign that shift points are being registered. Now all we need are the correct numbers to display. Thanks Jay for keeping us updated if you can!

Steve from Banks will post the actual PIDs we can get with the Pro here eventually. I think for the Trans Gear there are actually two different PIDs, "Trans Gear" and "Trans Gear Commanded", the commanded one is 1,2,3, etc. I'm also hoping when Steve posts the list, it will show what PIDs are available for Tundras based on Trim level (if they differ). Previously, not all PIDs were available for all Trim levels.

@ToyFan - Should I wait to order until Banks re-lists the MY22+ Tundra/Tundra HV on your site again? It does not show up for the 25', but it does show for the 24'. I'm probably going to wait until it shows up on the site for the 25' but the laggy throttle in my 25' Tundra 1794 HV is driving me nuts. Thanks!~!

The throttle hesitation/lag will not be 100% resolved even with the Banks PedalMonster. The hesitation/lag was still experienced by several owners with one installed.

Maybe so, but I do have one and I can tell you once you have it, you won't want to drive without it, it makes a huge difference!

Although we have not officially released it for '25, there are a few '25 Tundra owners using PedalMonster with success. We will be adding it to the site soon.

A firmware update to pedal monster pushed to my device earlier this week. Was glad to see it. Not yet sure what the changes are. Will update when I learn them.

Update: looks like this one didn’t affect our trucks but Honda, Jeep and Subaru
