    none....yet!
I think my SR has it, it sounds just like my old Avalanche. I like it, it's comfortably nostalgic.Mine doesn't sound very loud like some other posters have reported, but it's definitely a v8 noise. To be honest, I don't care much to hear the turbo's spooling, it kind of loses it's cache when you listen to them every day, all day for 25 years.Just reminds me of work, ha ha! I can dream i'm tooling around with my holley carbed v8, good times!

With intake/charge pipes, my turbos sound louder and I enjoy hearing them :D

My old ears didn’t notice much difference after disabling the fake engine noise. The poor window seals might be a part of that.

I just crank up the tunes and accept it.

Turning off the fake engine noise was great for me. The cab is quieter and I can have the volume on the radio lower. I'll never go back to the fake engine noise.

I have a 2025 limited hybrid with the 14” screen. It doesn’t have the upgraded JBL system, but it has the ANC and the ESE. the dealership tried to shut off the ESE for me but could not. They had the master tech check it out the next day and he said he could not shut it off because I did not have the JBL upgrade. It will not show up in the options on the scanner but will show up if you have the JBL system. If you keep the tailgate down, it shuts off the ESE as you drive and I like that better. I can not drive with the tailgate down. Anyone have any suggestions?

I used Carista to turn off the ECE. I think I also turned off ANC and definitely turned off the surround sound as that ruins the music IMO but I have the upgraded JBL.

If a truck does not have the JBL system, it also does NOT have the fake engine sounds, hence there is nothing to switch off.

You can’t have ANC either without the upgraded JBL system

You sure you were at a Toyota dealer?o_O

Unless something has changed on the 2025s that this forum doesn't know about, one would think a master tech would know how and when ESE works.

I'm still trying to figure out why I don't have the option for it even.

I am looking for double cab owners with the JBL premium audio to step in to say if the do or do not have it on their truck.

I got Carista for 3 months to turn on what I believe I haven't heard on my 2022, purchased used in 2024. I knew someone had been in the optional preferences as I have no seat belt dings and I get 7 turn signal flashes with a soft blip to change lanes.

I have told my local service advisor that I want to file an official complaint to find out why I don't have the ESE nor the ANC options on my truck. There is already an observed anomaly about my trucks information. When they look at my official VIN info from Toyota itself, there is ZERO optional equipment listed (like the JBL premium audio, Limited package, power package, panoramic view monitor, moonroof and heated steering wheel.) It does have the "Southeast Toyota Distributors options, such as TRD running boards and several options on my truck. I asked if I had a bastard truck? He took my statement in humor, but I am thinking it may be.

I have the JBL premium audio but I don't hear any fake engine noises coming from it. Seems like if it were, it would come through the speakers. So I did a little test, turned on the audio system with the volume down all the way. No difference. If fake noise was playing through the speakers and I turned the volume up it would get louder unless an inverse signal were summed. That seems like silly complications and expense for JBL for something you can't turn off. Hence, I don't think it's there. Feels like the source for this speculation comes from the Carista ID'ing what might be an unused or future param in memory.

You appear to have a Crew Cab. This noise is not speculation as people like it and are annoyed by it alike. It is a sound pumped into the stereo just as a sound to counter road noise in the cab. These features can be disabled and enabled by the dealer or Carista and possibly other OBD interfaces.

I am looking for double cab owners who have the JBL premium sound system to help determine if these features are crew cab only or not.
    Thanks for you input.
