From what I read, that puppy probably did 0-60 in 7 seconds flat. Staggering!

I think with all of his mods, boost and gearing @Mdl has a 3.xx 0-60 in his if he had the right tires.

I have another set of wheels. I could find some light weight 33 or 34's. I think i have 83lbs in each corner with the 35's.

The best I've been able to do is low 6's :( but I tell myself that's ok cause I'm at 7000' and my truck is pretty heavy. Still slow though... Maybe I do need that 65mm pulley

You just have to run a 3/4” hose from the lower intake box into the cab to get lots of whine sound in the cab. Be careful though, the negative pressure will collapse the cab, and your lungs at WOT like the Oceangate Titan submersible.

You could try to get a Gen 3 sound setup to give it that cool sound. Have it on loop with a whine pre-recorded.

I like how most of our trucks on that list look like regular daily used trucks on big mud terrains and all terrains, bed caps, tool boxes, etc, yet could still put a whoopin on most unsuspecting "sports cars"

@Tundra Texan you really need to forget this ridiculous "break in period" that doesn't exist. It sounds like someone that was on their period came up with this blasphemy. And at this point jesus christ get the 400 little miles out of the way so you can feel better about beatin on the damn thing and realize all the power is there. I put that blower on mine at 30k miles, let it run on the lift so I can check for leaks, took it on a 15 min cruise, double checked again for leaks, then hammer the F down! Been on the truck for 60k miles now without issue. These trucks are quick and I'm sure yours is no exception. I'm still on the stock baby maggy pulley and yet clocked a 4.57 sec 0-60 on 35's, full system, lift, and toolbox in the bed. It's time for you to see the light!

I'm slowly starting to classify as such. Today is my daughters 7th birthday and I'm thinking where did those 7 years go? And I just turned 39. Is 40 the turning point to being called old?

While Magnuson Superchargers don't require a specific break-in period as part of their warranty, it's generally recommended to follow a short break-in procedure after installation to allow components to seat properly, especially the bearings. This typically involves limiting RPMs to under 4,000 for the first 50 miles.
    Here's a more detailed explanation:
    • No Specific Magnuson Warranty Requirement:
Magnuson Superchargers doesn't specify a break-in period in their warranty information.
    • Recommended Break-in:
Despite the lack of a warranty requirement, it's advisable to follow a brief break-in period after installation.
    • Purpose of Break-in:
The primary goal is to allow the supercharger's bearings to seat properly before subjecting them to high RPMs.
    • Procedure:
Limit the engine's RPMs to under 4,000 for the first 50 miles.
    • Why it's a good idea:
While not mandatory, this short period can help ensure optimal performance and longevity of the supercharger.
    • No need to avoid full throttle:
A fresh engine with a supercharger may be tested on a dyno with wide open throttle (WOT) runs, according to a Reddit thread. The same thread suggests that this does not cause any issues.
    • Other Break-in Considerations:
It's also a good practice to perform an early oil change after installation to remove any debris that may have been introduced during the installation process.

I'd bet it's just the installer being extra careful to cover his Ass if something does go wrong.
I'll be easy on it for it's first tank of gas which will be pretty close to his recommended break in miles.

I remember you asking me about my opinions on the SC for the tundra. While I liked the SC, who wouldn't, I told you, to me it wasn't wort the price of admission. To others, it's worth it and some will go way above and beyond dumping money into all sorts of power adders. And that's cool, I have done it numerous times. I probably dumped around close to $8-9k and I did all the work except tuning. To some people this is their hobby, their escape to have fun. To others its just a, I wanna try this and see what its like. Ever since I bought my first tundra,2008, and the SC was an opinion, I always wanted it. I did have SCed truck before,06 Silverado SS, so I knew that 150HP on a 6,000lb truck wasn't going to be mind blowing. It's been said before, the tune from Magnuson is lacking, but if you start going down the rabbit hole of tuning, then expect to start upgrading fuel pump and injectors to start with. Then you have to make sure your AFR is with in range so you dont put a window in your block or piston. Dont expect a huge difference past 400 miles. It is what it is unless you start adding more mods and adding power.
