Rear Charger Mod

    I know this is a super easy addition, but damn if it isn’t absolutely necessary and satisfying.

    Super easy.

    Lift the lid to the console, put fingers on top edge of back piece of the console, lightly squeeze in and pull back.

    Disconnect the cigarette lighter. Remove the three bolts holding the panel the lighter is in.

    Some tiny plastic tabs holding the lighter into the panel, you’ll see them. I used a pick to press them.

    Once the lighter is out, use a step drill bit to slightly increase the size of the hole, put the charger in.

    Back to wires, snip of the connector, strip & crimp two female spade connectors & reattach the panel using the three bolts.

    Now the pop the back panel back on. Might want to lubricate the console lid spring and hinges while the panel is off. I did.
