    Any pictures? Thanks!

Lots of people have. Toyota sells the black trim piece. Don't know the part # on hand but it's here on the forum. I'm sure someone will chime in with that if you don't have it already.
    I painted my own..

Paint yours with SEM Trim Black. That piece is over $200.

I'm sooo OCD by the time I order paint, screw up the silver piece, have a bug land in the paint, mess something else up and then have it turn out like a 4 year old painted it.... The $200 isn't too bad!

I ordered mine through Fred Anderson during a 25% off w/free shipping sale, so total price on it was $157 shipped.

Haven't installed yet, so no pics....

Yep... That sold it. Now I have to do it.
    Looks great.

I just watched a video on how to change it out. A bit intimidating.

I don’t mind the silver trim as it matches my silver tundra. But would love to get the OEM black pieces to replace the fake wood grain panels on the dash.

My personal opinion is it's amazing. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I have a sim card on it and it had its own internet.

It takes this to replace that part, minus the console..

Yea it looks bad but it's not at all. If your mechanically inclined it's nothing if it's your first time wrenching then it might be a little difficult.

Yes, I paid for the "easy" method of not having to paint mine. Be sure to order the right one. Two part numbers . 1 for the 4x4 switch. 1 for trucks without it.

There is a whole sticky on blackout trim install but I can't find it. Quick search should yeild you good results.

Thank you for the offer, but no thank you!

I'd give it a week or so, and once another sale pops up try to get your order in early...

Curious if there is enough room behind the left trim piece above the 4 wheel drive selection knob to where I could cut in an aux switch to mount in that area somewhere?

Thanks. I'm no pro when it comes to painting but I've played around with all sorts of different spray paints for these dash trim pieces. I was going for a textured look(to hide the imperfections) so I wanted to try this hammered paint by Rust-Oleum..
    https://www.lowes.com/pd/Rust-Oleum-Universal-Gloss-Black-Hammered-Spray-Paint-and-Primer-In-One-Actual-Net-Contents-12-oz/3728965
I really like the way it comes out.

Since that picture was taken I've already swapped out the trim pieces again with something that I was playing around with..
    20250612_145117.jpg 20250615_150957.jpg 20250615_151006.jpg 20250615_151025.jpg

This is how I currently have it right now...
    20250622_163622.jpg

Not sure how I entirely feel about it but gonna give it some time n see if I don't end up swapping it out again. I have a full spare set of pieces that I swap out. I actually repainted the spare set today and really like the way it came out.

SEM Trim Black I believe is the preferred paint used by most who have done it themselves.

I used SEM black on mine as well. Also did the plastic trims on all four doors and even painstakingly painted the radio volume button by very carefully masking the button.IMG_0355.jpg
