Is this too much Toyota frame rust?

Thinking of trading my 2004 Tundra for a Lexus gx470. Would this amount of rust make you avoid. Opinions are appreciated.

    Pics attached. Thanks.

I’m no expert on GX frame rust locations, so not sure if you’ve surveyed the hot spots or not. Most looks surface with mild penetration at best. That Lower frame support however appears to have swelling and delamination. Not sure if that’s a common area, or an unusual issue.

Yeah, can’t tell if that’s delay under the radiator or if it’s been in a wreck.

Too much rust for my taste, but this isn’t a GX forum so not really sure how to help here.

Looks like mostly surface rust other than under the radiator. Too much rust for me though.

I personally wouldn't buy it based on just what's under the radiator. Some of the other stuff looks like it will clean up, but considering that this particular frame seems to quite a bit of rust on pretty much all welds, I'd want to investigate those more closely, particularly around the key structural areas and also INSIDE the frame.

Certainly salvageable. Do you live in a dry arid environment where there’s no winter salt?

If no, you’ll have to treat it and keep on top of retreating it to prevent it from getting worse.

Front end usually gets peppered the worst so doesn’t suprise me but I personally wouldn’t touch that car
