    @astrength22

    Probably going to be stealing your idea :) Did you use any special kind of screws for joining the 2 pieces of trex together with the straps on the back (bedliner) side? First time I'd be working with trex, so not sure if I can use regular wood screws etc. THANKS!

    Steal away! Isn't that what this thread is for? lol

    I just used deck screws. If I remember right, the Trex is ~1" thick- but you can see it has grooves/channels on the back side, so I made sure the holes I chose for screws in the straps lined up away from the channels, so I'd hit the full 1" thickness. I used 1" screws, but after the thickness of the strap and a washer or two, they did not poke through the front side.

    If you can find solid Trex without channels/notches- may be easier, but would add weight.

    I also cut the straps to length with my angle grinder- couldn't find any 11" exactly.

    A few months later- it's holding up well- no warping and keeps my golf clubs from flying to the front of the bed

    Had some time today and based this off the divider created by @astrength22. Since I have the bedrug installed, I just measured (60.5") and cut the Trex boards straight. Went with the "Saddle" colored Trex as it matches the 1794 interior really well! There is a little bit of play in movement but I think it'll be ok. Already went and got some groceries to test it out and it did just fine. The octopus hooks are a bit too low and probably won't be used too much, but they look good. I'll be adding some Toyota badging courtesy of my 3D printer and a couple of kayak handles (being delivered today) and that should be all I need. Thanks again for the inspiration and idea @astrength22.
