I have a 2008 Toyota Tundra SR5 that I installed a Boss BV9358B 7in screen stereo. However, there are some issues as I have listed below.
    1. No sound
    2. The 12v constant (yellow Wire) does not power up the stereo when voltage is present unless the Red wire (12v ACC) is connected to the yellow wire. This is not correct in the instructions
    3. The remote (Blue/White Stripe) wire that provides power to signal to the remote does not work.
    4. Yellow wire which is constant power keeps the stereo on even if the ignition is off.
    5. The switch wire (ignition power) does not turn on the stereo and v/v.

Any knowledge and suggestions are welcome!
    thanks, Rob

Are you using an external amplifier?

The red wire needs to be connected a fuse or another wire that only supply power while the vehicle is running or the key is turned forward one click. I think its the "acc" position . Either way, the red wire is the wire that sends the signal to the radio to turn on and off. Some ppl tie into the ignition wire others look to the fuse panel and find one that has power only when the truck is running or the key is in the accessories position and tie the red wire in there.

Im not sure i understand what you mean here. The blue/white striped wire is the turn on wire for an external amplifier. So are you saying your amplifier is not turning on? If not then i believe you might have just misunderstood what the function of the wire was. Which i can understand if thats the case.

Again, im pretty sure this has to do with the red wire not being tied into the proper source.
