It could be due to the fact it's the TRD Edition but again the pic of my Truck before and after doesnt add up.

    Nope...I'm serious.
I dont have any recollection of having it lifted but it certainly looks like it was.
Hell,I remember having my FJ lifted and that was years ago.
But they do say it's the short term memory thats the first to go:eek2:

Hard to agree since none of us have seen the "before" photo of your truck.
I would LOVE to see those if possible. Also, any shots of the under carriage.
(this feels like trying to get nakd photos from that hot 28yo gal you met online ... who is actually a 54yo dude in his moms basement)

Sorry Tex, I didn't intend to frustrate you...
I'd guess that wherever you took your truck to get your wheels & tires probably did the lift kit.
Maybe that's why it's not memorable ... when you picked it up, the wheels and tires would have received 100% of your attention.
But the bill probably would have been upwards of $8K or so I'm thinking.
Either way, it looks fantastic and I love the color. I still prefer the look of the Double Cab over the Crew Max.
(and we still want to see photos of the suspension when you have a chance. Thanks!)

    You frustrate me?
Oh....I just took it in to get the front wheels balanced.
    And guess what....No aftermarket lift.
It does have Bilsteins but no lift.

Now I think you're just trolling us, haha.

And, I certainly wouldn't trust most of the kids at the tire shop to know/tell me if my truck was lifted or not.

You most certainly have a lift ... I believe Bilsteins come standard on the TRD Pro ... so you likely have a strut spacer.
You would see the black or shiny aluminum spacer tucked in at the top of the strut.
    See photo...

Post some pics of the suspension. From the top and bottom. Also the rear axle. We could totally point the "no lift-lift" to you.
I totally believe it came that way if you bought it used, but you said you didn't. And there are some dealers who will install lifts prior to selling them new, too.
Like Nooboo Baggins said, you can't just throw 35's on aftermarket wheel with a different offset on a stock Tundra. You would be doing a cab mount chop, trimming, etc.

Bilstein also came on the TRD Off-road package. A different Bilstein shock than on the Pro, though.

I know what a spacer lift is and I would never install one on any truck I've owned.

Then I give up ... those are stock Toyota TRD Offroad pkg.
It definitely is lifted but it will remain a mystery. (unless the day comes when we can see some photos).

    I guess so.
The only way it's been lifted is if the dealer did it.
I'll try again with the before and after pics.....

The question everyone is asking is not "who" lifted it ... but "how" it's lifted.
We actually need some pics of the suspension, undercarriage, and rear leaf spring/axle connection.
One of us would be able to tell you how the truck is lifted ... that other people are now telling you is not lifted.

It certainly looks lifted but I sure as Hell dont remember having it done!!
    And as I said....
It might be the early onset of Oldtimers disease because I have Zero recollection of having it done!!
But I must have by looking at the before and after pics.

Here's the comparison side by side.

    There ya go..
Like I said I have no recollection of having it lifted but I must have at some point.
To be honest it's kinda disturbing that I dont remember having it done.
And with the Wife not remembering either it makes it even more disturbing.
Might have to go open the hood and make sure there's a Magnuson under it!!!

Haha, people do things and forget. But, that is kind of a big one. I'm sure when the tires and wheels were put on, they probably lifted it, too. Probably a package you bought. It's a very nice truck. Enjoy the hell out of it!

    But like you said...
I'm gonna drive it and enjoy it however it came to be!!
Bought ready to pull a Ferris Bueller's Day off and put it up on stands to get the miles recommended before bringing it back.
Hoping they up the boost when I do.

Again....So far I'm not all that impressed with the increased HP.
Hoping when I bring it in they do something to make it more impressive.
Like I said,my Tacoma with the TRD Blower was far more impressive!!!
Guess I'll see after bringing it in in a few hundred more miles.
If it doesnt improve I'm gonna be a bit disappointed in the end result.

    Especially at the price point!!!
