I know the wireless chargers have much to be desired in our trucks. I finally changed out the case in my phone to use the wireless port. It will sync and begin charging to drop off charging and the led beside the resting port flashes 3 times continuously and may or may not sync and charge again to still cut out.

Is there a meaning for the 3 flashes of the led in orange ?

I even took the phone out of the case and have the same results.

As strange as it is mine just starting doing this as well. I assumed it's the heat, it's 115 currently. But I was going to keep an eye on it. There is nothing on the charger and the orange light is just blinking away. When I put a phone on it nothing changes and it doesn't charge the phone.

Thanks. When the phone is bare and just sitting it does this.

I wonder if Toyota will replace with what I believe to be the upgraded version if I keep bringing it in for this fault. I believe I recall reading that 2024 or 2025 chargers changed.

    I have an 84 month/125K b2b warranty.

is the updated version backward compatible?

    Thanks for the replies,
    Mike

I didn't know the chargers changed. But if they did, with the way different dealers treat their customers, it's a crap shoot as to whether you get any real attention unless there's a TSB issued. Heck, even if there is a TSB who knows.
