I got to see in a buddy’s 2025 Limited today. One thing that stuck out was the matte buttons and bezel for the steering wheel. I really liked how it blended with the other buttons on the wheel as they are matte too.

Does anyone know if there is a separate part number for the bezel and buttons here that I’m pointing out below? I’ve only found a part number for the steering wheel assembly.

Here’s my buddy’s wheel and pointing out the pieces I’m talking about:

Here is my wheel and you see the piano black bezel and buttons:

I don’t know if this is a change across all trim levels or not for 2025.

‘25 SR5 looks matte to me. Grabbed a pic off the local dealers website.

'25 Limited here, also matte buttons (heated wheel, if we're tracking specifics)

Ah! I would love to swap mine out for the matte also. Hate the shiny black.

Thanks all with the ones with ‘25s to confirm. It must have been an updated part from Toyota starting this MY. Yes, I’m definitely interested in the switch too. I can’t seem to find any part numbers for the sub components. I’m sure they exist.

I know there are some matte bezels on scAmazon that are overlays but I’m wanting to switch the parts out for OEM once we all figure it out

Also, it may have been a fluke but pressing on the buttons my buddy had on his wheel felt sturdier than mine. I’ve always thought mine felt loose and like they had too much play.

Can confirm on my 23 those buttons seem really loose like the wobble when you press them.

Thanks for confirming. I’m sure the part numbers were updated. I’ll keep looking into it and see if I can find the part numbers for the matte ones.

Okay I went onto Amayama site for part number search (thanks @sudobash).

I got down to the steering wheel layout and found this diagram:
    upload_2025-6-18_22-15-25.jpg

I couldn’t find those part numbers in that section below so I went to the sub scheme for the switch, relay and computers section that it referenced below.

Then found schema 7/12 had this diagram:
    upload_2025-6-18_22-18-10.jpg

I found these 2 full part numbers from the diagram callout:
    upload_2025-6-18_22-19-48.png

It looks like 84250-AN030 supersedes 84250-0C140 and that happened around September of last year. That might have been when the 2025s were being built.

So, looks like the part number we are looking for is 84250-AN030. Only problem now is I can’t find that part under ~$490. Definitely not paying that for a matte finish update…

I’ll probably just wait for a part out to show up in fleBay. They come up from time to time.

Other option is wait for aftermarket. I’m sure the guys at AJT would have something up their sleeve one day.

I like the matt black as well, probably just keep my eye out for a totaled 2025 Tundra in the junkyard network for parts and try to get it cheaper.
