AWD System

Last week, I received this message on the display of my 2024 TRD Pro. I took it in the next day, where they told me it was throwing the error code P17A813. They are replacing the 4WD Control ECU. The kicker is it's back-ordered for at least a month. I told my friend who has a 2024 Platinum, and he had the same error. He sent me a pic of his (I attached it because I didn't take one of my own truck). His cleared itself.
I also did some searching and saw where other people had the errors, some didn't need fixing, and others waited months for the part.
They gave me a rental, brand new SR5 Tundra, to drive while I wait, but I don't want my truck sitting on their lot for months.
Does anyone else have this error?

 

I had it come up when I was stuck on ice and couldn’t get 4x4 to engage. I parked the truck and came back an hour later and it’s been fine ever since.
