I'm hoping to replace the factory lights with something brighter rather than attaching all new light pods. I am aware of the Form Lighting ones, but they don't say anything about being any brighter or measurements of their brightness over stock:

I am planning to get the Diode Dynamics hitch receiver light to help, but upgrading the stock location reverse lights would be good as well.

For what it's worth, the Diode C1R Hitchmount is definitely helpful in general, but in terms of actual output, the Baja S1 hitch mount puts out notably more light. Of course, the Baja doesn't offer the running light/brake light functions, but everything is a trade off.

I'd love to know actual differences myself on the Form lighting replacement modules as well

Form output was less than OEM due to lens being tinted. I went back to DD hitch mount

I will "Tag" you to the post/product I used for my reverse lighting solution. Easy to do and works amazingly well along with other safety related benefits.

DAMN the Baha designs is double the lumens of DD hitch mount light and wasn't even on my radar! The running light/brake was a nice to have but I'm fine with giving it up. Thanks for this!

Just do a search on OPT7 or Amazon for: OPT7 3row paralux LED in red.

Made for the Tacoma 48" and get the plug and play adapter as part of the kit. Was about $120 out the door when I got mine. Just solder (or wire nut) the white wire from the adapter kit pig-tail to the reverse light wire on the OPT7 and you reverse lights too - full function - or just go without that simple connection and you have turn signals and night time running lights, and emergency flashers. Easy install.
