2007 5.7 crewmax with 161k miles. I replaced starter, alternator and battery in the past 1k miles. Truck won’t turn over on very hot days (90 degrees) it fires right up on 75 degree days. I checked the fuel pump pressure and that’s good. Could it be the crankshaft sensor? The only thing the mechanic could find was that it needs new rear brakes and rotors which I replaced…

Fuel or sensors won't matter if it wont turn over. I'd double check all battery connections are clean and tight. And perhaps load test battery.

Or do you mean it wont fire up but still turns over fast?

Won’t fire up on hot days, but turns over really fast for 6 to 8 seconds. If I wait for it to cool off to 70-75 degrees, it will turn over with no issues at 1-2 seconds.

I forgot to mention I also replaced spark plugs and coil packs a year ago.

Thanks for the input. Checked battery connection and tests at 14.5v when running and 12.5 when it’s not.
