    Good morning
Does anyone have an interior photo of the area above the front door on the passenger side of a Crewmax with sunroof and with no headliner or air bag installed? Currently drilling holes for a Rhino Rack Backbone system and encountered what appears to be a second layer of steel which doesn’t allow the nutsert to drop completely into the hole. Wondering what the structure looks like from the inside without having to drop the headliner.
    Much appreciated

Thanks for the link to this thread @Tunrod . Lots of discussion about that particular rack and install.
I did use a drill stop on all sizes of drill bits, to the point that I had to slowly increase the depth of the stop on the first pilot hole to eventually get through all the steel. Then I stuck down a small screwdriver into the holes to determine safe drill depths before I increased bit sizes. It’s just the one at the front that I am struggling with. Need to know if that lower layer of steel can be drilled through to allow the nutsert to be fully inserted.
