Warped Rotors

    Had the same issue a couple of times when driving the mountains. The rotor got hot and vibration feels dangerous. I agree with Matt that it was not due to the embedding because there was no complete stop before it happened. And as soon as I get off the downhill and the rotor cools down, the vibration goes away. Never happened in the city.
    Still not sure how to deal with this issue.

    thanks for the input. I'd suspected that it wasn't the rotors after watching a few videos on the topic. I found a local shop that didnt mind checking the rotors specifically for warp. Turns out they are not warped, its simply the pads. 22 pads seem to be a gamble if they were made correctly, shop said he's seen too many cars made in the pandemic having the same issue. Good news.. just cost me new pads!
