Looks like my Dad's taco has at least two dead O2 sensors. Just going to throw all four at the truck for him, but they're a little pricier than ours.

Unfortunately only $3 cheaper each on the upstreams. Only thing the truck has really needed at 100k miles

You can turn it off, but at idle it kills one of the cylinders for cooling.

Have you guys heard about Govt trying to sell off some 120MILLION ACRES of USFS land? Like 10M+ just in Cali and if what I saw was right, it’s the Sierras.

Gonna try to not get too political, but yeah I saw this exact thing coming when they started talking about wanting to sell off forest lands a few months ago. The amount of forest land around Big Bear that could be potentially sold around Big Bear is alarming and could potentially turn the mountain mostly private. Very shortsighted because selling it you only get what it's worth for it's present value as a dollar amount. I imagine the land won't be sold at it's true present market value either, if it is actually sold. A lot of this land has limitless potential value for the greater good of the public that you can't put a dollar amount on. I guess we'll see how it fleshes out. You might be able to relieve some debt with the revenue from land sales, but you lose access to it's potential value. What happens when that debt inevitably comes back and you no longer have the land? Sure the private owner could grant access and their potential property tax contribution will add to the tax base, but selling the land and relying on the property tax contribution might not be enough to stave off the debt.

You ain’t seen nothing yet….dig deeper and you’ll see who it will actually benefit in the years to come. Sometimes the majority does not get it right. We as a country stand to lose many of our cherished resoures that our childrens chilidren and their children we’ll never get to see in their pure beauty….it’s downright un American

Public land is awesome. I hate that TX is like 90% private land.

Shit I just want to own some property, other than my Tundras, in my lifetime, without having to inherit it. Half the people my age and younger are fucked.

Should have bought property with your paper route money when you were 12. Land was cheap in TX back then.

I dream of an acre or two a barndominium. 2 bed, 2.5 bath (the half bath in the 4 car garage), 2 post lift, and a covered deck on the roof.

Things were insane back in the 90s. Guy I worked with bought 1/2 acre of land and was having a 1800 sq ft house built on it right outside Austin for $85k.

Salary for an engineering graduate back then was $36-$38k for comparison.

I hate when outdoor plans goto sh!t. Planning on trying out my new m18 variable speed die grinder with a wire wheel to clean up the rust on those steel ramps and of course it’s raining out.

Buy once, cry once? I also trust Bosch if from a reputable source but if they are within 10% cost wise from OEM, I’m just getting OEM supplier.

    calling all FGT AccessCab owners:
Side Pivot window seal gaps...am I the only one?
Got a thread in FGT A-V section about ACab wind noise, since at the time of upgrading speakers, didnt notice then...
...looks like the root cause is air gap along trailing edge pivot window...@shifty has probably been there, done that.
Is solution a full wx-strip replacement issue for the window, or is it known design flaw in ACabs side-pivot [and now left to our own resources]?
Pics are of window wide open, then full closed w/easy to see 1/8" airgap.

I had that issue a few years ago, pretty sure I used a dead blow mallet and just tweaked the metal slightly where the hinges mount to make it pull in further... I took a pic when I had it out, but it's useless. I may have actually done it with my meat fist for more control. Edit: maybe it was just the latch hinge that I tweaked on, fk that was 2022 and 100 truck projects ago

thx @BroHon- ...you sort of confirmed my suspicion.
the pivot lock looks like it needs a small 'adjustment' from some kind of shim between it and the cab surface; just enough to put a little more closure tension/pressure on the glass. The trick is not so much that the tension breaks the hinge or glass.
Im on the DL lately, but gonna temporarily stuff some backer rods in the gaps and get up to highway speeds to listen for any improvement or other wind noise.
Cant wait to get the door cards back on and be done with speaker upgrade.
