I think the post is a bit misleading because it's sold by DD through its partnership with Form Lights - so it doesn't get DD's standard 8 year warranty, just 2 years. The price point is good but you're giving up the longer warranty (though that may not matter to some).

 

I hope that these will be standard on future models because current factory ones suck ass,day one condensation between the lens and LED...

I think the blacked-out ones might look good with my MBM so I'll probably be getting a pair in the near future.

Are you accessing from a proxy/vpn? Typically these errors occur when the website has banned your location (so if you're proxied through a different country, etc).

Candela is a little weak. My handheld flashlight has 80k candela.....just saying.

Was anyone else suspicious that the images are hosted by imgur? The real DD has their own website for this kind of thing.

I have a friend that has had like 4-5 DD bulbs die recently so I'll be buying directly DD products only for full warranty.

 

This thread has a video that is super helpful - I would say that your flashlight is likely not 80k cd. The output of these fog lights isn't bad @3900cd, they will be bright.

And lumens are much less at 200-300 roughly. The DDs have lumens in the thousands.

 

That is true, but there have been complaints that the SS6 are too bright, so this could be a happy medium.
