    Folks,

I am new to this community and have purchased a 2023 Tundra SR5. I am looking to add the ambient lighting (mood lighting) to my SR5. I have read and watched several things related to some issues with the ambient lights not fitting correctly in the SR5's.

The kit I am looking to purchase is from Rave Off Road:

Does anybody have any picture or can explain what they had to go through for the plastic trimming on the door panel and the wiring that needs to be done?

    Thanks in advance!

I haven't done this, but saved it for future reference if I wanted to someday. This guy goes through it with OEM part numbers he ordered and showed some basic steps of install. Hope it helps.

Also, I know it's not full out mood lighting, but I installed some footwell lights and it turned out great. Gave a certain "mood" that was missing at night when they are on and I can see things that drop on the floor now. Here is my writeup.

Soooo clean. I love the accent there. This is making me want to do this mod now. I'll have to stick with the theme of my light blue since switches and all are that color for me. Would still look good I think.

Oh and the floor mats are amazing. Is that OEM? Just a pro thing?
