My 2012 Tundra was totaled last week and I'm in the process of buying a new 2025 Tundra with the 6.5 foot bed. I'm looking at bed covers and I think the OEM cover may be the best option. I have 2 questions. First, has anyone done a head to head comparison of the two? And second, is it worth the effort to try to install it myself, or should I just have it done at the dealership and include it in my deal?

No personal experience with the Bakflip Mx4 but I have been VERY happy with the OEM trifold. I got mine at cost and had the install included as a part of my purchase. I have zero regrets.
