I was installing the rear sway bar on my 2011 Tundra Limited today and discovered that I have a broken leaf spring (middle leaf is broken and separated about an inch). I am not going high end in the replacement. In looking at budget friendly options I came across General Spring, Dayton, Husky, and Dorman. I am looking at the 5 leaf 'HD' option for these. General Spring looks good, but their shipping is a bit much. Rock auto has the Dorman, Husky, and Dayton, and more reasonable shipping BUT they all have the same part # 90363HD. That got me wondering if all of the brands are using the same OEM and just slapping a different label on it. Is General manufacturing their own stuff or is that basically going to be from the same factory as the others?

Not really answering your question, but if you have a local shop that makes leaf springs that's the route I would go. They could make the leaf spring that is broken and you could replace it instead of the entire pack.
