    Hello all,

I replaced the ignition switch on my our 2002 Sequoia limited yesterday and now it will turn over but will not start. The reason we replaced the ignition switch is you had to jiggle or use another key to get the Sequoia to start.

I think I know the issue but wanted to confirm here before spending anymore money. I think the new key needs to be programed so the security feature of the Sequoia will all fuel to the motor. I can get it to start by putting new key in the new switch. Then putting the old key on top of the new key and it will start right up. So after saying all that do I have to go to the dealer to get this programmed? I was also wondering an a locksmith or a local shop do this as well.

    Thanks

There are other youtubes but since this was a 2002 Sequoia, this looked promising.

@BubbaW I saw that last night and tried it this morning but it did not work for me. I tried it like 3 times but I could never get it to work for me.
