First oil change at 1k by me, and then again at 5k, and every 5k after. Only by me, truck will only see a dealership for warranty work if needed.

mods would be tint, have it ceramic coated, good tonneau cover, meso lights for the interior, rear wheel well liners, etc. mods are personal and endless. Enjoy the new truck!

I believe there is an “accessories” thread pinned at the top of the forum. Lots of info there.

Worth it though, they are a must have imo. I don’t care if it said “ nut gripper” I’m using em in the tundra lol.

If you know anyone with a 3D printer, there are files available online to print that do not have any of the logo stuff. I think someone here even uploaded a file for front and rear cup holders

I highly recommend you have a PPF, clear bra, or something appointment lined up immediately on the day of purchase. The paint on these new trucks is incredibly thin or weak. Within two weeks I had an incredible amount of chips in the paint.

Buy a set of screen protectors for the dash and infotainment screen. Same thing, install very quickly

Shop around and you can find OEM oil filters for $7 or so and buy a dozen of them. Get you an oil filter wrench and clear hose to drain the filter cavity. I changed at 900 mi, 5000 mi, and the dealer just did 10K.

Hmmm...I have 26K miles on my Gen 3, and the only blemish in the paint is a small chip in the front bumper from when I got too close to a retaining wall.

I do make a point of not tailgating, though, especially behind work trucks, or when road conditions are sloppy. My wife isn't as conscious about tailgating, so her 2022 4Runner does have a few paint chips, but nothing terribly noticeable.

$7 for a filter? It is an exceptional price, usually dealerships sell them for around $5.:p

And BTW, sorry to piss on your parade, the infotainment screen has a factory installed protector. Did you install one over it? I have to admit, it is rich...

I'm pretty sure the factory screen protector is suppose to be removed by the dealership as part of the pre-delivery preparation of the truck. Mine was removed, and I think most owners here will confirm the same.

Why would someone install a screen protector over a screen protector?

Are you just being a troll?
