Installed the new painted/PPF lower valance panel along with the painted/PPF fog light panel. The entire front clip is wrapped in PPF as well. She still needs a bath after this rain passes thru.

Still don't quite understand why Toyota doesn't manufacture the higher trim levels like this from the factory.

This is a SR5 TRD Sport that was delivered with everything paint matched except for these two pieces.

Looks better this way and I agree I do not understand why they wouldn't offer it.
I got mine done and PPF 2 months of ownership.

What company did you get these from? are these the "chrome stoppers" pieces? If so, I have been hesitant because they are over lays....do they stick out a lot or are they pretty discreet?

The foglight bezel is from Chromestoppers and the lower valance panel is an OEM Toyota part.

The foglight bezel fits very nicely and is relatively seamless as an overlay. I could have had the OEM foglight bezel painted, but it wouldn't be able to have PPF applied due to the Tundra logo embossed on it. Plus I have de-badged the entire truck with the exception of the grill ornament and obviously the Tundra imprint on the tailgate.

I have the OEM lower valance I removed from my truck and I'll be placing it for sale for anyone interested in doing this mod.

Looks great. Spot on color match and durable, looks like just rolled off the Factory floor. Did you have a local shop Paint/PPF the lower valance or find on PaintedOEMParts?

I have looked around in the past for a valance in silver aluminum color for the Tundra TRD OR to mirror the chin of the 5th gen 4Runner TRD OffRoad, but haven't found an aftermarket product that seems close; other than maybe the nytop aluminum which can get expensive and doesn't really have the appearance i am looking for. Perhaps Paint/PPF like this is the answer. It looks fantastic.

    thanks, and great looking truck!

I bought the lower valance at Sparks since they are local to me and then had it paint matched at local body shop. Same with the fog light bezel.

When you price it out painted or unpainted its relatively the same whether the parts supplier or body shop does it. I wanted the ability to address any paint issues locally instead over the phone/internet so I opted for local body shop.

I received the OEM recovery Tow hooks Pkg last Thursday, once I got home from work I took the valance to my body shop guy to color match it.
Well I got the call this morning that it's ready so I'm going to pick it up and bring it to my PPF guy tomorrow.
Super stoked can't wait to see it!

    * Edit*
Just got of the phone with my PPF guy and he said to wait for it to cure & said he doesn't have a template for the new valance design...
So while in the curinstage hopefully he'll get the template for it.

He doesn't need a template to apply PPF to a loose part you are taking to him.

It's a little tuff to stretch it when it's loose and not mounted on the front end.
The original valance is straight forward and completely different from the updated 2.0 version.

I was gonna tell you that you need to wait for the paint to fully harden. My guy uses Xpel and apparently they had a template.

Thanks for the heads up but yeah it needs time to cure and "gas out" before it can get covered.
So I think I'll have to try to find the time to install the hooks and the new chin strap.
