I have an aftermarket HU an android touch screen it was a cheap radio. I also upgraded to jbl stage 3 door speakers. Now on the adapters they gave to connect to the new HU there is a pink wire that is marked “amp DET” idk where to hook that up to. Now with out it i get sound at my front dash speakers but nowhere else the door speakers just have bass. If i fade the setting to play sound only to a specific side it does not work and gives me no sound. Before i go an purchase an amp or anything i need a little help or some guidance to what i need to do.

Airbox with K&N Filter, 2" lift on 33's, Alpine iLX-F309 head unit, Pull out bed tool boxes, brown with black trim, rims, etc, black leather interior, matching topper. Muffler delete (too loud..) 62k miles!!!

The "amp-DET" wire (also known as the remote turn-on wire) is typically a blue or blue with a white stripe wire on an Android head unit. It's used to power on and off an amplifier when the head unit is powered on.This wire carries a low-voltage signal to the amplifier, allowing them to power on and off together.

I seriously doubt this is the issue with your speakers. I just went through this on my Alpine ILX-309 and my particular issue was a really, really, really sub-par install. It looks like an ex-wife that got hosed on alimony and child support payments did the install. Most every wire has been spliced with cheap gold crimps with heatshrink just placed over them, not even shrunk down. I'm talking 1/2" out of the receiver harness wires cut and spliced for seemingly no reason. The only thing I can think of is that it was a botched theft attempt and the PO tried to salvage the unit. I'm still going through it to fix it properly (soldering all connections and proper heatshrink). I did however find the speaker issue to be a sub harness someone spliced in the wrong connectors to (female, female) and they put a 6" jumper (male male) to plug them in rather than correct the issue. That connector had an intermittent issue that would manifest on my dirt road trek's to town.

I'd check wire harness into the radio to make sure they are all seated properly and retaining properly. My first issue was one harness connector they buggered up the clip on so it wasn't posi-locking in place. I remedied that temporarily with a small zip tie and electrical tape to ensure that was the issue.
