I recently purchased a 24 Tundra 1794 non-hybrid and wanted to install a small lift (~3 inch). I'm torn between two separate lift kits:

    - 3.5" Rough County Lift with Vertex Coilovers and V2 rear shocks for $1,199

    - Bilstein 6112 Coilovers and 5100 in the rear for $1,061

I know Rough County has a bad rap, but I've heard decent thing on the Vertex Coilovers. The Bilsteins should be pretty solid, but I'm only getting about 2.2 inches of lift.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Tony

between those 2 Id go with the bilsteins. Given a 3rd option Id go with the Eibach stage 2r. No cost issue option ADS. What I am buying is a Ready Lift 3" with Falcons.

I have the 3.5" RC lift with the M1 coilovers and shocks. The ride did get a bit stiffer compared to the factory non-trd suspension that was on the truck, which I am ok with. I felt like the stock suspension would fall out if I hit a hard enough bump in the road. One thing I did was to replace the front CV axles with the Ready Lift axles that are recommended with their 3-inch kit. My truck came with the black axles, which may or may not have worked but I did not want to take the chance.

The main reason I'm considering the Rough Country is the Vertex Coilovers by themselves are typically $1,299. The 3.5-inch with Vertex front and rear is $2,839. I've only found one site that pairs the Vertex front with the V2 rears and the price comes in less than the 3.5-inch with M1s. I can't find any reviews between the Vertex and Bilstein 6112 Coilovers.
