Can't pump your own gas in Mexico.

No luck on the fusible, still no crank. Starter I ordered Monday hadn't shipped so I called the dealer in CA. I used to get no tax/free shipping, 2-3 business days for them to get it from today. I called my local, they can have it Friday so I ordered it, cancelled the first one. :(

Does the engine crank fully by hand? Like several full rotations?

I believe mine is due to a tight belt also, but then again 13 years of use isn't too bad.
My belt is tight. I have to do a water pump change and I might order a smaller billet pulley from ASP. Think it's $150 that they sell with their larger crank pulley. I just never got one when I went with their crank pulley.

    None at this point.
Had some problems with the belt tensioner pulley in my 98 Tacoma years back.
The bearing kept failing and they'd only sell you the complete pulley with the bearing installed.
Made my own pulley out of 316 Stainless and pressed in a sealed German speed bearing intended for skateboards.
Never had another problem with it.

I just cranked on it for over a minute, forgot to mark the belt to see it was going around, but sure felt like several full rotations. I have only 2 plugs out, and I felt the lower compression (easier to move) on those strokes 3x

Ha! Had something happen similarly in the early 2000's with Clutchnet. Had an order for a dual friction clutch disc that was waiting on a batch run, I forgot about it and went to something else, then 2 years later they find the paper order slip on the floor behind the desk. Luckily they called first before shipping.

Getting an P2198 code. When I google it, it shows others that get the same code has another code with it but my truck is only getting the P2198. Has anyone ever encountered this issue?

    how does the truck drive?

edit - do you have afr gauge to verify how rich it's running?

It was fine for a bit, I started noticing a check engine light coming on when I drove in the rain. It hasn’t came back when I cleared it until a few days ago. It will come back 5 mins after I clear it now.

Two questions: do I need an adhesive for the O-Rings? Looks like it had some.

    Screenshot 2025-06-11 at 3.15.45 PM.png

Also, I assume for assembly I needed a bolt in the middle opening? It was not there.

    Can I use this?

    how long is a bit?
miles since blower was installed and truck was tuned?

    could be bad o2
    could be stuck inj

does your exhaust smell like fuel?
    rough idle?
    misfire?
also - are you running an oiled air filter? if so, clean MAF and install dry filter

Yeah, about 2-3 thousand miles. I barely drive the truck. Yes exhaust smells like fuel but thought that was because I have headers as well. No misfire, no rough idle

I hope I don't get flamec but with older o-rings I'll roll a bit of fipg to get them to stay put. If it's on a slow setting and not cross threaded but don't take the chance.

Gotch, I’ll clean the MAF again, I cleaned it recently when I installed the AFE pro dry filter. I also switched from the Trd box that came with my super charger to a buddies magnuson if that matters at all, im told they’re the same thing.

Measure the TB hose opening on the new vs old air box. There are 2 sizes of TRD box lids, changing sizes without a retune would cause a rich/lean issue
