Hey, new to the forum, bought a 2014 SR5 a little while back and I do a lot of traveling with it, most of the time I'm hauling my camper. Question is I'm looking for a programmer that I can adjust on the fly to be more fuel efficient or a quick adjust to a more aggressive mapping. I did some research on the bully dog and from what I gather, u have to plug your truck up to a battery charger Everytime to adjust it? Thanks for the help

:D It's a truck not an econobox. It doesn't get great gas mileage.

From my understanding, a programmer alone won't benefit a rise in MPG's. Might wanna research gears. Cost is a lot more than a programmer but from what I gathered, it's the cheapest way to actually increase your fuel range.

2016 and up have come with the 38 gallon tank, for the SR5 premium or above trims. I have a 2014, so I have the small 26 gal tank like you

Cheaper to just get the 46 gal Transflow tank. I have looked into it, just cannot justify the $1100+ price

Bully dog tuner claims is can improve your mpg or offers aggressive mapping for well aggressive driving but it doesn't seem easy to change the mapping. The videos I've seen u have to hook up a battery charger Everytime to adjust?
