New truck to me with opperational issues firstly no a/c and no power to pin 21 of a/c amplifier fuses are good
I live in Los angeles county but not in the city and when we get rain and snow I was trapped in my driveway because the corolla would probably just get stuck in the huge puttle that forms in front of the house or something will create a problem because of the snow. Not now with this Tundra that I just bought. No puttle or snow pile stopping me now with all wheels powering th motion. I payed $8500. This is my most favorite vehicle works everywhere. i am now intimadating better than intimadated. There are people out there that have added another drive diff to have a 6x6 config 4 in the back and two in the front. I want but can't have. I will just stick to making the repairs and fixes in there due time. Currently there is no a/c only get heat and questions to find answere to. Trying not to take it to shop. Not sure that they could help because the only guage that has use is an electrical meter. ok that is my stop

check your ac fuse and relay.

ensure you don't have any leaks in the refrigerant system.

    and welcome to the forum.

Hello again and to continue with the A/C issue. So if it is tested for voltage pin 1 and 21 at the large connector to the a/c amplifier there should be battery + 12v. What I got was no battery + on pin 21. The wireing diagram shows this pin 21 leads to a 7.5 A fuse on the fuse block labeled A/C connector DD58 DD is plugged into the drivers side fuse block. So disconnect all the pluggs on the fuse block both front and back remove the two 10mm nuts one 10mm bolt and the block came loose. Folowing the wireing diagram for relay locations driver side inner circuit gives an inside wireing diagram of how the power is routed and where to check for continuity in the fues block. I checked the fuse block over made sure that all the fuses were correct in the location that they belonged plugged the fuse block back in to its spot ran a copy of Techstream that I have on the computer and wala no codes where I originally was getting a b1497 or the code for communications error. I did get the code for a short open in the presure circuit which I replaced the sender previously. I then added some refregerant and it now only leaks but works. I am going to use my halogen smiffer and hope that I find the leak not to be under the dash in the heater box and have not put the dash panels back in that I have removed for the fuse block for the reason that if I have to dig in to fix leak I am allready that much closer to accesing the evaporator in the heater box. I feel the need to get to the actuators in the box as they seem that they might need some attention because they are noisy like struggeleing to move.

One thing about the interior is that why is it that there are so many overhead places designed for pairs of glasses. Did Toyota think of something other that storage for glasses for that overhead compartment. Is the changing the overhead console to something else other than storage for glasses a good idea that is going to be durable esp because of the proximinty to the roof and heat. Plastics and stuff like that will deform just sitting on the dashboard. Maybe there is a custom application that can be implemented but I dont really need all the storage for glasses. Thanks
