As a consumer do you strictly go by percentage like a meal or it's within reason?

Like for a $2k detail (ceramic coat, window tint, ppf headlights, etc.) job I was thinking $50 or $100 max, am I being a cheap ass or is that a reasonable tip?

It depends, really. I’ve done a ceramic coat and received zero.
I’ve done plenty of details with 0-$100 tip

That being said- I always throw in extras, always. May be an engine bat cleaning, may be some spot removal, leather conditioning - something.

Ok, that's a relief knowing I'm not the only one that thinks this is a bit much.
