Put the parameters of what you're looking for into Bring a Trailer...

They've had several come up recently, and most have already been properly titled!

Best dressed I’ve seen up this way thus far. Bumper is rotten but the rest of the truck looked alright(ish). Potato quality pics.

I haven't, but I have looked into them before.

I am skeptical on their ability to translate properly and quickly. Google translate has its own issues and has other issues when transcribing text depending on the person's accent or speed of talking.

If Google still has issues from the app then I'd imagine that the headphone translators would be the same.

I also think that the translation devices don't do well with slang words.

I'll wager that it's kind like using a voice app on a phone the send text..

Friend is moving up here from ATL, and our son is friends with their son, and my better 3/4 is taking a sabbatical, so seizing the opportunity to drag the kids out to a bunch of new hikes, eat some good food, hang out with the Maine-iacs up here, and help with the acclimation and move-in, maybe. Timing worked out well, best friend’s son is home from college and his grandpa has heart surgery so we’re letting them use the house for Jr to help Sr on some recovery, and the family can have a central spot to hang together once Sr gets released. Fingers crossed nobody dies in the house while we’re gone

    With a Chevy V8?

    upload_2025-6-7_8-35-51.jpg

Both a kei truck and a ute are on my bucket list.

The ute wouldn't need an engine swap (hopefully). The kei truck would definitely need something more powerful.

It’d be fun if you transplanted that GenIII SBC into something more fun.

Speaking of more fun, @KNABORES is this interesting to you? Price is good, it’s an ARE too:

No scuba, but we have some haunts to hit, Acadia (and BH) are booked. No stranger to ME, wife spent a lot of summers up here, her mom has friends all over the place up here, and one of our friends flips houses up here during the summer and owns a few places. We just don’t get up here but every couple of years.

I'd love to see some pictures of some of the Maine hiking spots if you feel up to sharing sometime.

Maine is on my travel list.

I've never heard of wanderlog. I just downloaded it now. Man that seems like a great app. My friends and wife have typically just started up a shared Google doc sheet to jot down ideas of places to go during travels. This will be helpful!

    Those are cool.

I have always been a fan of El Camino's and wish that I had the time/space/money to get one as a project vehicle to convert it to an off-road beast.

Nah, not interested in a high rise. Unless I got divorced and wanted to roam the country in the back of the Tundra.

Any guess what kinda critter did this?

For context, those gouges are at least 3-16” - 1/4” wide at the skinniest spot.
