I bought a kit for spraying fluid film and did a few test areas on the truck. Next day, I see these squares of rubber are falling off. Looks like they cover some holes in the rocker panel? Looking at the parts diagram it looks like there's supposed to be a rubber plug (part # 90950-06060, $3.19). Question is, why does my truck not have those plugs and why does it have adhesive squares instead? Does anyone else have these?

Maybe your truck had the OEM step rails at one time and a PO removed them and covered the holes to avoid intrusion? :notsure:

My truck did have the oem step rails and I removed them, you can see two of the bolts in the background of the first picture. I didn't add the rubber adhesive squares though.
