IMG_4328.jpg Anyone know if it would be possible to swap the center console USB dual port charger to the version that comes in the new Tacoma? The Tacoma port appears to be the same size and it supports 45w charging..would be really nice to have this for fast charging and larger devices like iPads.

Answered my own question, it is possible! I got it done with the help of @Siblue finding the part number for me.

    Part Number is: 85532-AK010

Was able to pick it up during the Toyota parts sale... also picked up two prewired harnesses off AliExp to avoid cutting any OEM wiring. Installed today and it works like a charm!

    Nitrogen filled tires!
Look in your center arm rest console front driver side - there is a usb type c outlet. Maynot be fast charging but it is there for the using. That is what I use.

What are the dimensions on that, I wonder if it would fit the 2nd or 2.5 gen.

The wiring is simple. I used heat shrink butt connectors and wrapped everything in fabric tape.
    5 PIN harness:
-splice together pin 1&5 (positive. Power for charger and backlight)
    -splice together pins 3&4 (negative)
-De-pin or cut wire from pin 2 (not used)
    2 PIN harness:
-Black was positive on mine (verify with multimeter and connect to positive wires from 5 pin harness.
Red was negative, connect to negative wires from 5 pin harness.
