Puddle lights

Yessir. Diode has everything you need to do it. I used magnet mounts. I think I’m gonna add some more to make it smoother looking, and maybe swap them all to Amber. Thinking 4-6 more

 

Could these work as rock lights as well? For instance do these turn on when you turn on the cargo light from the cab? I'm not around my truck right now or Id walk my butt out and see if the bed lights turn on when I turn on the cargo lights. It would be nice if these turn on as well... I will want to do this!

 

My plan is to mimic what Ipaddick did, instead of individual led(bulbs) is use H2O proof (allegedly) strips and mount them to the frame with a photo cell to only turn on when it's dark.
This way it won't put a drain on the batteries.
I'm still working on it,picking away when I can.
