    They finally figured it out!

I've scrubbed through reddits and there are no more problems with third generation toyota tundras.

    They're finally safe to buy!

At the shop, there has been a trend of excessive play in valves and some cases where engines blow even after performing the engine recall. Hopefully these are one off situations but if not I hope Toyota is able to identified the cause of these failures and address them before too much damage is done.

    What’s wrong with stock?
My August build 2022 SR5 OR with all the goodies has been great. No real issues just the same annoying things that could go wrong with any manufacturer. In other words this truck is fantastic.

2023 1794 with some of the frustrations like fuel gauge not reading correctly, seat cracks, hesitation issues (which seem to be fixed after two visits now). My first oil analysis, which I posted a few days ago, showed the engine is doing "better than most" according to the comments on my report.

This is the best truck I have ever owned. Not the most powerful, or the fastest, but overall I love this truck. Toyota as a company....not so much.
