    Love mine!!

Nice and cushy, SOOO much easier on my old skateboarder knees.

I like that things stay where I put them unless I want them to move. My CPO '19 came with a plastic drop-in liner (Hate those things) you so much as look at your brake pedal and everything is up against cab.

I agree. I purchased a universal piece (no wheel well cut outs) for my decked system for the pups. Had enough length to add a piece on the tail gate. It's holding up very well. I pull the piece out of bed, put it on the garage floor and run the vacuum over it to get the dog hair and dirt off. Easy peasy.

Oh cool, I didn't know they sold it like that.
Are there set lengths or can you order it by the foot?

Got any sort of write up and parts list on your nice little electrical box in the bed? That would certainly be handy for sure!

Also, another huge vote for the Bedrug! My setup is below in the bed.

Ooohh, very nice! I've been thinking about doing something similar.

Yeah, I did do a little writeup after someone else asked. Lemme' see if I can find it.

I don't have a Bedrug in the Tundra yet, But my Tacoma has had one since 08. Only complaint is trying to get the dog hair out. Impossible task for sure. Besides vacuuming every now and then, park on a hill, get a hose and spray it out from inside the cab back window. This thing is 15 years now and still looks good. For you camping guys you need a Kamp-Rite 4x4 Mat. Fits the bed like a glove and 3" thick. Your back will thank you. Kamp-Rite Double Compact Self Inflating Sleeping Pad | eBay

Ooooooh. Interesting. I have been trying to figure out a way of putting a water proof electrical outlet and other charging ports into my bed. I didn't think of putting it in a metal electrical box that you attach to the rails.... Hmmm. How's that worked out for you?

    Absolutely zero regrets.

BedRug was the 2nd mod I did. First one was a LineX spray-on liner. I'm indifferent about having that -- I thought it'd be really important to have but with the rug in place I'm not sure how much it adds. But it was a concession I forced the dealer to include anyway, since I couldn't get them to move even a dime on the price. So after that, I added the full BedRug (bed floor, all three side walls, plus the tailgate). I added it at the same time as BakFlip MX4, which required relocation of the rails. But it all worked out really well. The BedRug looks fantastic, and even more importantly, it makes climbing around in the back of the bed so much more comfortable. My biggest worry is it would make moving things around hard to do but everything slides in and out like it's supposed to (and yet doesn't slip around significantly while driving)

I have two complaints about the BedRug and only two. One is that it is very hard to clean. They told me it'd be as simple as washing it out. But if you get leaf litter, dog hair, and other similar things on the rug, it will get stuck in there and a huge jetspray is not even enough to get it out. Gotta brush it out. I just deal with it.

Second complaint is that it is a royal pain in the ass to remove the liner. It has a zipper that runs along the whole perimeter, but the zipper faces down to the truck instead of up. For aesthetics etc. that makes sense. But it is really, really hard to zip or zip unzip.

    It's working out REALLY well!

I use it a couple of times a week to plug in my portable shower and rinse off after surfing, and it (plus having bedlights) makes my life way easier. I used to have to run an extension from the back seat out the rear slider, turn the key on, blah, blah, blah... now I just drop the tailgate and plug in!

If I were doing it again, I might use one of the cool boxes that @dittothat used (I linked it in the write-up) but I'm maybe $20 all in for this. The single-gang box I used is barely big enough when you go to tuck everything in, but I wanted to keep it as small as possible.

My original plan was to flush mount the receptacle in the bed, but this saved me from drilling holes in my bed and is probably more weatherproof.

Few yrs bk, but Im looking for either a full rubber bed deckmat or maybe a BEDRUG.
** just sold my Toyota 'knee-torture' liner today; Only took a month; buyer put in his '05 and loved it.
Looking at your 'full-monty' BEDRUG in your FGT [DC?] looks nice- Purchased as a Sgl, 'Full-kit' ?

I had one on my second gen with a tonneau cover and loved it but my trucks are pavement princesses for the most part getting dirty camping and drinking beer on the tailgate so I think it depends on how you use your truck. I know they say you can clean it but if you do a lot of dirty stuff with your truck - blood (hunting) hauling dirt, gravel, etc... I don't think I would get one.

    thx @hudrock .
..There will be Blood...[fish], and there will be surfwax, and there will be sand/dg/concrete dust...not all at once tho [fortunately].
Im also considering a 'co-product' [of theirs?]; DEE ZEE MAT...unfortunately not tailored to FGTundras, but I think a later model Tacoma bed might be close fit. Waiting to hear back fr/them, but still not ruling out BEDRUG.
Also, in the total rubber mat offerings theres a product by "WESTIN"; appears to be 'tailored fit' for FGT, but at 3/8" thick about 50lbs and near $200.

17 years of having a Bedrug the only thing that does not clean up well is dog hair (yellow labs).

I agree with you. I have had mine for 2 years now, and it is either needing replacement or removal. I plan on removing it. They claim no staining/etc, but do not ever spill anything other than water, or you will have issues with smells, deteriorating materials, etc. It is far from “easy to clean” if you actually use the bed for hauling landscaping materials/etc.

For the pet fur on the horizontal surfaces, i toss in the roomba and let it run around for a while. It does a fairly decent job for not much effort.

Yes, they have pretty good cush for not being super thick.

My knees do NOT like when I crawl around on them on hard surfaces, and I can be on this with no problems.

Definitely one of the best mods I've done.

I don't think they make Bedrugs for the Gen 1 '2000 - 2006' Tundras anymore.

Everything on realtruck only goes back to the Tacoma for 2000 - 2006.
