Hi all, I just went on a road trip with the wife, a friend, my toddler and two dogs in my double cab. I knew it was going to be tight so I removed the passenger seat and put a dog bed down for the dogs. That was a perfect solution for fitting everyone comfortably but I did (obviously) have an error code for the side airbag and the seatbelt.

Has anyone figured out a way to trick the computer with a dummy switch/plug? I was thinking there might be a way to cut off a junkyard plug and jump some wires to create a quick plug and play solution when I have to pull the seat. It’s kind of outside my swim lane though so I’m curious if anyone has done it and can give me tips or if there’s something I’m missing (like if I do that then it’ll disable the other airbags). Thanks!
