LOL...moved from Washington State when when I was around five when my Dad got the Head Trainers position for the then new Houston Rockets.
When my parents told me it didnt snow in Texas I was PISSED!!!!
Low and behold it snowed 6 inches on our first winter.....haven't seen snow like that again over the last 50 plus years.

Maybe so but if you use your Tundra like I use mine 4 Wheel drive is a necessity!!!
Driving over 60 miles down Padre Island National Seashore four wheel drive is a must have!!!
You get stuck out there you might not see another vehicle for days.

    Depends: Location, and terrain.
This Tundra is my second 4x4, and I knew it really needed it to be 4x4.
If we get a hard freeze we can't hardly get out without one because of damage it does to roads after it thaws.
I almost got stuck in 4x4 work truck in middle of county road going to our house several months ago because it was so muddy and boggy when it unfroze (doesn't happen often). There are many places can't go locally unless have one.
I get amazed at the tourists coming here to rent "Cabins", and complain they tear up there 2 wheel drive vehicles because of the bad roads, or can't get up the hills because they are to steep, and gravel, or gravel on concrete. They are called cabins, and dirt roads.
