Suggestions for short driver?

My wife is short (5'0), and she can barely reach the pedals to drive my truck. Luckily, she doesn't really ever need to drive the truck unless her car is getting fixed or something. Is there anything we can use to make her safer and more comfortable while driving?

I was actually surprised to find that my truck didn't have them.

Those would be nice, but the only thing is that they have to be bolted onto the pedal. I drive the truck 99.999999% of the time, and I don't need them. I am hoping to find a quick/temporary solution.

 

Hence the shoe blocks. Strap two or three on right foot and he should be able to reach.



Does your wife see over the steering wheel?

 

Might be an option. She can see over the wheel fine, but she's got the seat all the way forward. If she ever got into an accident the airbag would blow up at point blank.

 

Easy problem to fix.

Go buy her a Tacoma or a Frontier.
