$116 just for the 4x4 nob! I'll make do with a little bit of silver. I'm poor, lol. Thanks for the info though.

Awesome. @STravis is a good dude. I texted him at 7:30 last night asking for a photo of the bracket and he texted me back right away. There was an issue with sourcing the small diameter bar and he called to let me know right away and offered to change the order so he could get the bumper to me quicker. Otherwise everything was on time. Quality bumper too. Way easier to adjust than the Smittybilt that came with the truck, and way cleaner. I would definitely recommend doing business with him.

Finally changed out these centric brake pads, definitely got my money’s worth… went with power stop carbon ceramic. Hopefully when I bed them in properly they don’t squeak. IMG_4365.jpg IMG_4366.jpg

Now you just need 7 more posts to post the Smittybilt for sale here.
How much does a front bumper weigh with the mid high loop on it?

Honestly, I would consider just giving it away to a member locally. Never was happy with the fit.

That looks great! I've thought about doing this but was on the fence whether I'd like it or not. Now I know how good it looks, so that's another project to add to the list...

Well this mod almost made it to the 2 year mark... I managed to break the cover somewhere on my 1300 mile trip from Sedona, AZ back home. Broke right where I drilled a hole for the box to mount so… hard to say it was not my own fault, but it made it through a lot of Offroad terrain so pretty surprised it made it as long as it did.

Got the hook up from @memario1214 on a new cover with some t-slot rails as a base for a new bed setup. And as a bonus I will be able to put tall items in my truck again without need to remove my cover.

I started this a couple of weeks ago, but I just got around to finishing it up this evening. I installed a Rockford Fosgate P300-8P Punch 8" Powered Subwoofer to complement the Memphis Audio M Class tweeters, component 6x9's, and 6.5's. (Headunit is a Kenwood DNX996XR Excelon Reference). I freakin' love it. Really rich sound all through the cabin.

I have no desire to thump so that my neighbors wet the bed from 3 blocks away, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on an amp and subwoofer/box. This little thing checks the boxes for me. For an 8" on a 300w amp, it is impressive.

    IMG_8790.jpg

    IMG_8788.jpg
I have the gain remote knob hard mounted in this compartment using the hardware that came with the sub.

I've been screwing with the EQ and X-Overs to dial in the sound that I'm looking for. The gain remote helps add more bass on songs that sound better with a little more, and it helps ease back on songs that sound better with a lighter touch. It's kind of a fun chase. It was sure fun learning to put it in. (I hadn't done that before. I had a shop install the HU and speakers back before I got a weed up my ass about learning to do as much to/with my truck as I can myself).

@APalmTree Who makes the roll up cover you put on? That is just what I need since my current cover is pretty old.

It is the Bak revolver X4TS, they make a couple of styles. They have a soft roll that rolls a lot tighter and the ‘solid’ version with aluminum slats which I got both are available with or without the tracks.

I took the wheel off to replace the front brakes and discovered the passenger side CV axle puked itself.

Also, my Hewitt bypass kit showed up so I might be doing that tomorrow if it's not raining.

I had a new carquest CV axle in my shed that I put in. I supposed time will tell if it's junk.
