Android Auto - No Split Screen With Toyota Radio?

Am I missing something or is there no way to split the screen (14") with Android Auto navigation on one side and the FM radio information on the other?

 

It splits with aftermarket but not sure about OEM units.

 

Did you ever find a way to do this. I'm finding the same issue, something so basic seem to be impossible?

 

I do believe that was my first post here, a blast from the past! As far as I know, there still isn't a way to split between Android Auto and Toyota but I think Car Play got something. I've just learned to live with it. One thing that helps me is I use the voice control button on the steering wheel to change radio stations.

 

I also use the the voice command to switch, but it would be nice to see the radio station and perhaps the song information. I can put Sirus on the split screen but nothig else.

If you have the digital dash, you can see the song info in the display on the left. Not ideal, but it's there.
