Does anyone know how to put a throttle by wire throttle body on a 2uz-fe 4.7-liter v8? I've been looking and searching but I can't find anyone who's done this. I just hate electronics and want an extremely responsive throttle body

Supras, SCs amd IS300/JZ types have them. Driftmotion, rad dan drift and suprastore among others. You may need more electronics though, piggy back or something to intercept the ECU signal.

The 2000-2002 or so had a physical throttle cable. Have you tried a banks pedal monster?

Only the 3.4l v6. All 4.7l v8 tundras had throttle by wire

Weird. That means the one I looked at was converted. Would a 2000-2002 throttle body fit to my 2003?

Is it a fully mechanical throttle body (2000-2002)? Some of the throttle by cable were "hybrid". They had mechanical cables but the computer still opened the butterfly. The cable could only open some of them 10%

On my '00 the cable goes to the throttle body but it doesn't control it directly. With the truck off, the cable does not move the butterfly

Helped on mine also. Also helped fix other people who found they had to push the pedal to halfway, and then the truck would jump.
