I'm not saying I'd pay it. But given the demand and market for these classics I'm not surprised at their price point.

It is a workhorse, she can get up and go. I know there is a lot of hate on the 3rd gen but I for one love it!!! I use the RockWarrior for daily drive and to pull the boat and trailer. I mean she is my first love and Tundra, I have been Toyota since I was 16, from 87-1990 Hilux pickups and 4x4. I still have a 94 mini that's a collector now. I have just hit 100K on the RockWarrior and she is a champion. So please let me clear the air in regards to 3rd vs, 2nd gen. They are just as goo if not better (own the 3rd gen for a year now with only 3,400 miles put on it from dealer special ordered brand new). You could never go wrong in the 2nd Gen, FACTS!!!

Tracked down a one-owner 2011 RW in SoCal last fall...she was well loved and lived a clean/healthy lifestyle. Did a quick little 24-hr road trip back to TX to get acquainted. Have had a soft spot for the 2G RW's for over a decade...needed a "new" daily workhorse, and this fit the bill perfectly. Couple pics shortly after leaving SoCal (plenty of gas station stops!).

Currently sitting just over 75k miles, chipping away at the aesthetics/"mods" (Sequoia TRD Pro grille, OEM Sequoia LED's, DD SS3 Pro fogs, WKOR sliders w/ dimpled top plates, interior LED's, fresh 285/75 Coopers, paint-matched handles/mirror caps, and a few other misc. items) and narrowing down final selections for a complete suspension refresh.

They are both solid trucks. Having owned both, I'm a fan of both.

@Trusty Rusty - how do you like those aftermarket RW trim rings? Do they allow water to drain properly? I know they are pretty spendy but I think they look good.

Blacked out my dash and column piece on my 2010 RW. Multi step process of sanding, clean, adhesion promoter and then a flat black/texture paint. I like how it turned out. Time will tell how the texture/paint holds up. I think the only drawback might be dirt or spills. If it becomes an issue I just sand it and paint with something different.

Hey all, long time listener, first time caller..

Picked up a 2011 Rock Warrior a couple weeks ago. Starting with interior mods for now, working on suspension/tire setup. Got a killer deal on 5100's for now, till I can snag a more permanent setup.
I see plenty of you rocking 35/12.50R17's (I have read through just about every comment from page 1), but how many of you are running these with stock UCA's? Just curious if I'm going to run into any issues rubbing or not

I run 35x12.5r17's with Rock Warrior Wheels & stock UCA's. I don't rub on the UCA's, but I rub a little on the fender liner. I am shopping for new tires this summer & will be trying out 35x11.5r17's for better MPGs.

Also, check out this great video about fitting larger tires on a Tundra with Rock Warrior Wheels.

    Upgraded Tires and Berliner -
Selling my RW 2013 48k miles that I picked up from original owner. I bought with the hopes of using her at our last duty station - we were going to buy a small farm. Plans changed and now we are moving to a place that is “not truck friendly” and we will be holding off buying land until this next (last) assignment is over. Bummed. She’s perfect in every way. Hoping another RW enthusiast would be interested because of this time capsule’s rarity.

All stock besides larger tires which are brand new- less than 300 miles on them. Everything works as it should - some minor imperfections but considering its been so well maintained and the low miles I appreciated it just as is. No rust - new tires Open Country Toyos- inside super clean no tears, rips or cracks.

48K miles asking 30K located in MS
