Winter salt has created havoc on my parking brakes and they are seized.
Has anyone swapped out the lever? Hoping to save the cables. Can I replace the lever without disturbing the cables?

I need to do mine also it barely works.

I’ve seen a video of someone doing it and it looks like a bear of a job if you can’t get the bolt undone on the frame rail, I recall they had to cut it off with a dremel

When you attempt it, share your findings :)

While not in a midwest environment, at 7k feet w lots of snow during the last several years, we get a decent bit of salt from ADOT.

I just R&R my diffs, which requires removing the brake hardware. I was able to disassemble the parking brake hardware and reassemble it without issue. Soak that lever ahead of time and the star adjuster too, and you shouldn't have to many issues w that part at least. No idea on the cables and housing.

Keep in mind there are two 17mm head bolts and a 10mm head bolt on the back side of the housing that can be removed that will give you way more play w the cable.
